Fraud Prevention Notice
Dear Customer,
As a result of the worldwide increase in identity theft scams, we urge you to read the following recommendations:
1.- Review the sender’s information. To deceive customers, scammers commonly use the following techniques, among others:
- Similar names or email addresses, even with minimal variations.
- Unlawfully replicate designs, logos and brands of the Hotel, Cruise, or Vacation Club; and/or
- They impersonate an employee or external agent of the Hotel, Cruise, or Vacation Club.
Always review that the sender’s email address, phone number or contact information is legitimate.
2.- Stay Alert. Scammers often use emails or text messages offering travel packages at exceptionally low prices, requesting advance payment. These emails or messages are intended to get you to contact the scammer by phone, email or through an instant messaging platform to continue with the reservation process and make payment to a bank account not related to Original Group.
3.- Suggestions and Recommendations. Avoid being deceived by following these suggestions and recommendations:
- Make sure that you are being contacted by an official employee or external agent of the Hotel and/or the Vacation Club.
- Do not click on links in emails, download or open files if you are not sure that they are legitimate and come from a reliable source.
- Review that the domain, phone number or account of the person who contacts you is legitimate, according to the list set forth in point 4 below.
- If you are not sure that an email, call, or message received is legitimate, please contact our team directly through the contact points indicated below; and
